Halifax to Sao Paulo, Brazil - $764 CAD roundtrip including taxes

American Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Halifax to Sao Paulo, Brazil down to $764 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 2 stops each way (Washington, D.C. and Miami) but are actually fast flights overall (15-16 hours of total travel time).
The fastest flights from Halifax to Sao Paulo are around 14 hours (1 stop through Toronto with Air Canada).
Note: You can also find some 1 stop flights for this price, but those have an airport change in New York City. Probably not worth the risk of trying to get from JFK to LaGuardia during the 5 hour layover.
You can also find some 1 stop flights through Newark with United Airlines for $794 roundtrip.
At one point, Brazil was going to bring back their visa requirement for Canadians. But that has been delayed until at least April 2025.
