For those that are comfortable rolling the dice, Flair Air is showing nonstop flights in July and August 2023 from Halifax to Ottawa for $96 to $196 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The base fare without luggage (personal item only) is $96 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The more realistic price is $196 roundtrip with a piece of carry-on or checked luggage.
Vice-versa flights (Ottawa to Halifax) are also available for a similar roundtrip price.
Booking with Flair comes with risk. They've been known to drop routes without warning. If a flight is cancelled or delayed they usually don't have an alternative way of getting you to your destination (many routes only have flights 2-3 times a week).
UPDATE - Late April, May, September, and October still have some cheap ones for $96 roundtrip. June, July, and August dates are available for $23 more roundtrip.
