Air Canada Vacations has some seats on a last minute flight from Halifax to Holguin, Cuba available for $245 roundtrip after taxes.
Here's how to find it...
1. Go to www.aircanadavacations.com
2. Click on the 'Flights' tab
3. Search for a flight from Halifax to Holguin, Cuba - departing March 23 and returning March 30.
UPDATE - March 26 @ 3:54 PM: The flight from March 30 to April 06 just fell to the same price.

The flights are direct (non-stop) from Halifax to Holguin.
And if you're looking for a cheap place to stay, one place to look is on TripAdvisor, specifically the Holguin hotel section under the 'B&B and Inns' tab.
Or Google for 'casa particular Holguin'. Casa particular is Spanish for 'private house' and is a phrase meaning private accommodation or private homestays in Cuba, very similar to a bed and breakfast.
