United Airlines has dropped the price of a few winter flights from Halifax to San Salvdor, El Salvador in Central America down to between $471 and $513 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
The flights have 1 stop each way in Newark and are pretty fast flights for travel between Halifax and Central America (9.5 hours on the way there, 12.5 hours on the way home).
Carry-on luggage is included.

American Airlines has just made an unadvertised cut on their fares to Central America from all across Canada. The prices are ridiculous, and I believe the largest overall price cuts from Halifax to Central America, ever.
