WestJet has dropped the price of a few of their November flights from Halifax to Liberia, Costa Rica down to between $450 and $521 CAD roundtrip including taxes.
These are very fast flights, with 1 stop in Toronto in each way for 1.5 hours.
UPDATE - New December dates have become available for between $490 and $521 roundtrip.

There's a couple of ridiculously cheap airfares from Halifax to Costa Rica. They're especially notable because the travel dates are over a month away. I've seen crazy airfares to Costa Rica before, but you usually only get a few weeks notice or less.
