Looks like there's some all inclusive packages to the Melia Las Dunas in Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba that have dropped significantly for June departures. $738/person after tax for flight, hotel (7 nights), food, drinks, etc.

Update @ 12 AM: The promo code (which expired at midnight) made this deal a bit better, but the real key here was the large drop on the base fare. Looks like it works out to $383 roundtrip after tax without the promo code, which is still a pretty amazing price for Halifax to Calgary, especially for summer. And as of this writing, still available.

Update: Westjet looks to have just matched the Air Canada sale. Today looks to be an amazing day for inter-Canada travel prices.
Westjet doesn't seem to have an official page up yet about their sale, they're probably scrambling to get their prices changed to match Air Canada.

The cheapest flights to Washington, DC from Halifax usually run around $600 roundtrip after tax these days.

I've had a fair number of requests over the last few months, especially from people that aren't on Facebook, asking if there was any way they could be notified by e-mail when I post a deal.

There's some pretty cheap flights from Halifax to Ottawa in June at the moment. Good deals on flights within Canada are a rarity.

No matter how many times I tell people that airfare prices can't be predicted, this question always comes up in some form or another, so I've decided to write an article that I can start referencing people to.

Just noticing that Condor still has plenty of cheap fares from Halifax to Europe in August. Here's the ones I've found for around $700 roundtrip after tax or less so far...

Great deals from Halifax to Central America are quite rare. Fares to Panama tend to bottom out at around $900ish roundtrip after tax.
